The last day of school before spring break, that is. I know I'm a little late but this is basically how the last day of school before spring break went down. Well, for me.
In gym, we played Prison Ball, my favourite game ever. It's so fun and my strong point is helping getting people out of jail. :) But where I was standing, there are these group of girls who are NEVER APART. They're just this cluster of high-pitched poles wearing spandex shorts who keep dancing and playing One Direction's songs and whenever a ball is thrown at them, and a couple aren't even that close to hitting them, they.freakin'.scream. LOUD. They pretty much make easy targets so the guys who have really good aim on the other team always throw the balls at them and some of them hit my friends since we're in that area too. And when I was trying to get a couple people out of the jail on the other side of the gym, some people on the other people guarding the jail jumped on the bench and caught a couple balls that I threw. And one of them was my former friend. He basically jumped on the bench, caught the ball, called me out and said I was out, and then he gave me the finger. So charming. I really wanted to hit him in the head with a mallet. I'm pretty sure my friend feels the same about this one guy who kept hitting her in the head, chest and stomach. Yes, I'm calling you out, S.
Then in Geo, we had a test. I know. A test on the last day. The class before ours had a party so there were these bags of chips and bottles half empty with soda on her desk and it was just...cruel. But the test was pretty short so it was okay, I guess.
In Graphics, we would either screen print our shirts that we've been working on but my Graphics buddy (I always make sure I have a buddy in every single one of my classes so that way I wouldn't be alone but Graphics is the only class where I need one) is on her way to Europe so I figured that I would to with the the alternative which is watch Napoleon Dynamite in the drama room. And I don't know why but the movie felt longer than usual...
During lunch, I found out that my friends were all dismissed 30 minutes early (not fair.) My friends S and T went to an open field behind a forest down a hidden pathway. Then we found another pathway so what do we do? We went down it and T and I realized that it was a perfect scenario for The Hunger Games. And since T and I are SUCH huge Hunger Games fans, we decided that we would think if our high school were the Hunger Games, who would be which characters. Since S didn't read the books (not cool) we had to explain to her who the characters were. We decided that S would be Katniss since she has the braid. I'm Clove. T is Rue. And a bunch of guys S hates are the other boy tributes since they're going to die :P
During French, we went to the computer lab. It was pretty stupid since we didn't want to do work on the last day so my friend and I played Trivial Pursuit because we're a couple of BAMFs.
Le sigh. So.... I can never think of clever endings so I'll just go with this:
Zefron is boss. Pigfarts is real. Calculus is tough. StarKid Productions FTW.
Art Freak
I'm basically a teenaged girl with a lot on my mind and as you can tell by my title, I love art, mostly drawing manga and photography. I usually never open up about my life but hopefully things can change as some things in my life are beginning to..

Rant. Sort of.
So it's been a while since I've blogged. I've been trying to think of what to write and I'm still debating if it's worth blogging but it doesn't really matter since I don't really care who reads my blog or not.
Anyways, this week has been.....sucky.
We're doing volleyball in gym and let's just say that I suck at it. But then again, I'm not the sportiest person since the first time I played soccer, I fell and broke my arm so.... I can't volley, my serves barely get over the net. I'll do a good serve and then the next will probably hit someone in the head. I don't jump high enough spike and I'm just too lazy to learn the "proper" way to. So all that's left is bumping. It's alright but I just keep hurting my wrists. I wear a watch and a bunch of bracelets. I'm aware that I shouldn't wear them but the bracelets I wear are friendship bracelets and are hard to take off since the knots are really tight and the strings are too short to untie and tie again so I have to keep them on. But since it's a short week since we have Friday off, we have ALC (Active Learning Center) on Thursdays (tomorrow) and we had a test and played dodgeball on Monday, we basically have two days of volleyball and we don't have a unit test so I guess it's alright :)
Speaking of gym class, we listen to music while we run and play and the music we listen to are on this girl's iPod or BlackBerry and it's the same songs over and over again. One of them is One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful." I'm not going to lie, it's a catchy song. But it's one of those songs that's catchy, but gets super annoying after a while. And to be honest, it's not really a song that guys want to hear, either, since we have gym class with the guys, too, once in a while. And it's definetly not a song that you want to hear while you're running or playing a sport and you get all sweaty. Unless you're one of those people who barely move at all in gym class to avoid getting pit stains. Another song is Backstreet Boys. 'Nuff said. The rest are rap with dirty lyrics and basically...music that I don't really listen to.
Wow. I just realized that I started this blog saying that this week has been really sucky and all I've talked about is gym class and the music we have to listen during gym class. So now I'm moving on to French, since my other classes are actually decent.
Yesterday, we were given a project to create a bucket list, translate it and then make it into a poster and give illustrations that looked "nice" with colours and it was supposed to be due at the end of class THE NEXT DAY. Now, I'm not the only one who thought that was bullcrap. So we were working on the projects today and none of us were close to done so we convince our teacher to give us an extension which is a good thing but wait. My friend, who I shall not name, said that now we had an extra day, we could play Trivial Pursuit. I know, we are so cool :P So I was asking questions and the class was really loud and we were sitting at the back of the room so I figured that our sub (yes, we had a sub and we convinced him that we should have an extension on our project) wouldn't hear us playing over the cacophony. But I was wrong. He told me that I shouldn't be playing Trivial Pursuit when our projects were due the next day. He didn't yell at me or anything so I thought it was just a warning so it wasn't a big deal to me. But now, I spent about an hour working on my project at home. And I'm a perfectionist when it comes to projects, with drawings, so I feel like I should spend every detail on the drawings but since we didn't get a lot of time to work on it, I basically rushed and now, the drawings don't look like something that I worked on so I think it looks pretty bad. Hopefully we don't get graded on our artistic...ness but hey, at least I got it done.

Counting Sheep Doesn't Work
Well, it doesn't. Hello. It is currently 1:35 in the morning where I am and I cannot sleep. So what do I do? I grab my iPad and look for random stuff to so, such as writing a post. Why the hell not? I have nothing better to do right now.
So today was a pretty slow day as usual. There was gym where we have to do the 10 minute run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and then we played ping pong which is literally the weirdest mandatory unit in gym. Period. And we have a test on it the same day we start archery and have a beep test apparently. Can't wait.. Then there was geo where we learned about glaciers (gasp!) and graphics where we're currently drawing pics of people on the computer. I'm still waiting for the day where we're going to make shirts.... Then come French which is well... French which le sucks. And I hate french but I have to take it otherwise I would have TWO spares and that would just suck because I need my credits.
I am such an insomniac. I went to bed around 9:45ish, hoping that I could fall asleep earlier. I was wrong. Because I don't feel tired at all and it's been....4 hours. Holy. CRAP. I basically went on Facebook and started talking to my friend in Saudi Arabia (it was about nine thirty in the morning there) and I felt so happy talking to her because it's been so long since the last time. We talked for about twenty minutes or so before the app I was using crashed. Smooth. But hopefully it doesn't while I'm writing this because that will just kill my day. And now it's only 1:47 in the morning.
Well, I better go try to get at least a few hours of sleep but that doesn't seem to be possible. And counting sheep doesn't work. I never understood that. "One fluffy animal jumping over the fence, two fluffy animals jumping over a fence, three Zzzzzzzzz...." that's how I imagine it to be but it just sounds pretty stupid.
Goodnight and good morning, Taylor :)

Happy Forever Alone Day!
So as you can tell by my title, it sounds like that I'm not the type of person who's into Valentine's Day. Most of my friends say, "Happy Tuesday"since Valentine's Day is about being all lovey-dovey with your boyfriend or girlfriend while some people are single (thanks for rubbing it in our faces) but it doesn't matter if you're in a relationship with someone, it's about being with the people who you love like friends and family. I'm just sayin'....
But anyways, today didn't really feel like Valentine's Day. The (fail) student council of our school is trying to put us in the loving mood by tell us to wear red or pink (gag) today but the only people who I saw wearing red were those IN student council and my friend who I shall identify as RG. And the only reason why I remembered it was Valentine's Day was when student council was handing out candy grams and roses to our classes. And what made my day was when a couple days ago, when my friends who are in student council were selling roses, one of them convinced our math teacher to buy one for a student who had dropped his class and he was like, "Eh, what the hell?" so he did. When student council came to our period B class, she called out the student's name and everyone just started going, "Really? HIM?" and laughed. Of course, we did too. When he read the card, he didn't really seem as surprised as I thought he would be. I was expecting, "What the frick?" but he just shrugged his shoulders like, "......Cool." Oh, well, it was still pretty funny.
And now, it's official. My friend Taylor is in Saudi Arabia. I know it's only been for a couple of days but it feels like you've been gone for a month. Get your butt on a plane back to Winnipeg first thing tomorrow morning! I know you gave your locker to K but in a way, it still feels like it's yours, and not because you left your locker organizer things for her. Promise you'll visit? YOU BETTER. Kthnxbye :P Hope you're having a blast at your new home :')

Just Five More Months...
So today was the first day of the new semester and I am SO happy that I don't have science, keyboarding or precal anymore! They were okay classes but they get boring when you sit in the same spot for months and months with the same people and it feels like you're not learning anything anymore. But now I am glad that I have more classes with my friends and I'm finally learning something new, except the fact that I hate French with passion.
But before the new semester started, I couldn't sleep. I'm such an insomniac. I couldn't sleep until like, 2 a.m. Awesome. I guess I was excited because The Voice was on earlier and I LOVE that show. I love the begging and pleading the judges do but it freaked me out when Cee Lo told that one girl "You turn me on.." I could not stop laughing at that.
Anyways, I have Gym, Geo, Graphics, French and a spare (in that order). I was so looking forward to gym. I was hoping that we would play dodgeball to break in the new semester but NO! We had to go to a classroom and review health and fitness stuff. In Geo, it was so fun. We just basically reviewed what we were going to be covering and then played Jeopardy. There was a topic based on Slurpees. Graphics, we just basically covered what we were going to be doing. I cannot wait until we make T-shirts. I know what I'm going to put on mine. Shoot, I just lost the game. Damn it! Literally, I just did. Oh, well. And French, we just played 'Bingo' and our teacher spoke in French 95% of the time and I'm not good at French so I didn't understand a word she said. The teacher that taught me French through Grade 6-8 has been teaching us the same stuff over and over again and it's on stuff that you would learn in Grade 6 so last year in French, I felt retarded because I didn't know a thing. And during my spare, I did nothing. I just went home.
So long story short, it was a pretty okay day, except for the fact that it's not the same without my friend Taylor, who had just left for Saudi Arabia. Come back, Taylor! It's not the same without you! :'(

Some days are for living, some are for getting through..
Well today was a shitty way to end a shitty day. I probably said that a lot at school but it's the freakin' truth.
The good thing is that it's the last day of the semester. (Yay, no more science, keyboarding, pre-cal and other crap) but the bad news is that it's my friend Taylor's last day :(
It started when I was walking past the old library, also known as the best place on earth. There were so many good times in there and they just knocked down the walls. The school is turning it into something that 99% of our school won't even use. And they created a wall in the middle of one of the main hallways that connects to the old library. Our hallways are small enough, why make them SMALLER? The amount of space we have left is basically my height (I'm five feet or something if you're wondering) and it's a safety hazard. If it's gonna be permanent, I will.... I'm not sure what I'm gonna do yet but I'll think of something. And it ain't gonna be pretty.
Next, we just studied for exams. It's the last day of school and all we do is study. I was looking forward to digitals because my teacher promised to bring a cake (a request from my friend because she was the first one to hand in an assignment) and a bag of Skittles for me (don't judge) because I was the second person to hand in the assignment. But did we get the--as my teacher calls it--Cake and Skittles Party? NO.
Precal, we had this sub and it was like we didn't even have a teacher. He gave us a review for the exam and we just sat there and talked. It was the last day of school and all of the other classes get dismissed early, but not ours.
Back to Taylor's last day. It was the worst thing to think of at the moment. At the beginning of the year, we're all like, "Yeah, we have a lot of time to hang out and have fun" but it just flew by. We had months but it felt like seconds. Now that there's days left, I wish that it could be the opposite, slow down time. Right now, I want to do my exams to get them over with but at the same time, I don't want the day to come because it means that we're one day closer to Taylor getting on the flight to Saudi Arabia. Life sucks sometimes.
The only highlight of my day was digitals (other than the fact we didn't get our cake and skittles) but we watched our big video projects, including The Barbie Bandits (my group, don't judge the name) Harry Potter trailer spoof and my friends' video with one of the guys running his head into a pole while trying to be a "tornado"..

Totally Screwed
I'm totally a-freakin' screwed! I don't know why I said it like that, but I am.
Sure, I only have 3 exams but I can't handle it. I have an English exam based on discrimination and apparently I have the same exam as the PGL class (Program for Gifted Learners, which I'm not.) My English class worked on our essays today. We had an hour to write but I was distracted by the Russian girl and the blonde Bieber-look a like that I sit next to because they kept blahblahblahing in something that I don't understand so all I wrote in an hour was two sentences for the topic sentence #epicfail
For science, I have to memorize a carbon cycle and a nitrogen cycle for the exam, which I'm no good at but I think I'll be fine since I just look at the pictures on the test and just match the ones that I think is right and actually is most of the time. Yay for winging it! I just hope the exam has the pictures like the ones on the test otherwise - you guessed it - I'm SCUH-REWED. Oh yeah, and I have to memorize a bunch of notes that I forgot about. Fun...
Math, in some units, I'm fine. But it's been months since I did them so I'm worried that I might forget how to do them. And in some units, I have no idea how to do them because my teacher goes WAY too fast. He'll teach us the unit for about a week and then we have a test on it, 'cuz he thinks that we know it. And if we ask how to do it, he just has this face like, "You guys must be dumbasses because you should know this by now" well sorry if you've been teaching the same lessons for {insert number of years that you taught here} here and we don't have much time to process it into our brains. Just sayin'.
I just want this semester to be over with. I'm not excited for next semester because I have to take French (I needed a class to fill in one of my spares so I had no choice) but it's better than being in the same boring classes I'm in now. It's like my brain is shutting off because nothing new is happening to wake it up.
